About
My story
I am a cook, writer and creative based in the Netherlands. Growing up with farmers, foresters and sociologists, I developed a deep sense of interconnectedness between natural and social systems.
I graduated in languages and cultures, further establishing my skills in storytelling and cross-cultural awareness. Through my experience in psychiatry, I learned the difference between analysing the mind and listening to the soul.
Choosing towards the life I wanted for myself, I grew my beliefs about what it means to be human, living with our own limitations as well as the world’s randomness, but also, with our ability to love and find beauty, again and again.
My favourite…
…thing to watch at night: the moon
…way to say no: “I’ll consider it.”
song: when it touches me
…instrument: my body and my voice
…mountains: the Alps
…smell: Octobre just after a rain shower
…colours: Chagall blue, terracotta, sea green
city: Richard Curtis’s London, Nora Ephron’s New York, Athens

“The most beautiful sea
hasn’t been crossed yet.
The most beautiful child
hasn’t grown up yet.
Our most beautiful days
we haven’t seen yet.
And the most beautiful words I wanted to tell you
I haven’t said yet…”
